44-POUNDER CAPS RED-LETTER SESSION ON SLK
Martin Smith enjoyed somewhat of a red-letter session on his southern syndicate, landing a mid-forty and a trio of thirties amongst a string of fish!
The highlight of the trip was a 44lb mirror, which was backed up by mirrors of 37lb 2oz, 35lb and 31lb, all coming from a hole in some weed.
Martin baited the spot with a mixture of crushed SLK boilies soaked in SLK Hydro Spod Syrup, using either SLK Corker pop-ups or 12mm Milky Malt pop-ups as hookbaits.
