HARDWICK THROWS UP NEW PB ON SLK!
David Postle now knows exactly why we class SLK as a ‘big-fish bait’, after it did him a brand-new personal best with one of the larger fish in Hardwick Smiths on the Linear Fisheries complex.
The 31-year-old from Norwich decided to focus his attentions on a silty spot at just under 10 wraps, where he offered SLK Corker wafters soaked in SLK Hydro Spod Syrup in conjunction with PVA sticks of SLK Stick Mix.
He then baited over the top with crushed and whole SLK boilies, hemp and crushed nut mix, which he had pre-soaked in SLK Hydro Spod Syrup.
David’s enticing concoction of bait was enough to pull in a PB-breaking 35lb 2oz mirror, which he backed up with fish to 23lb 12oz.
