PB TUMBLES ON PARCO TRIP WITH 57LB+ COMMON!
A trip to the Italian big-carp Mecca, Parco del Brenta, saw Craig Birch return home having secured himself a huge new personal best.
The 37-year-old bricklayer from Merthyr Tydfil capped his week with a PB-busting 57lb 14oz common, which was backed up by a 46lb 1oz grass carp and a string of thirties.
With no discernible features in front of him, Craig decided to make his bait his feature, introducing a mixture of Bug boilies in 8mm, 12mm, 15mm and mini dumbbells, which he had pre-soaked in Betastim.
He fished over the top of the baited area with PB wafters on spinner rigs.
