PERRY CAN’T KEEP HIS HANDS OFF YOUR MISSUS!
It might have been a repeat capture for Perry Alabaster, but this 52lb 4oz Monks Pit giant certainly warmed the cockles on a cold late-November morning!
Known affectionately as Your Missus, this unit of a mirror only graced Perry’s net back in October, that time falling to a Crayfish wafter, but this time succumbing to a PB wafter.
Each time, however, Perry fished his hookbaits inside bags of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets, which may well be tiny in size, but even the very biggest fish absolutely love ’em!
Perry added: “I was starting to think I should’ve stayed at home this week after fishing in 24 hours of constant rain, but as the sun came up on my second morning, Your Missus showed up!
“I had Your Missus four weeks ago, so I wasn’t expecting her to show up again so soon, but as the sun came up, Your Missus took a mouthful of my free offerings.
“Your Missus has lost a little weight since last month, but she’s looking well. It was nice to actually meet Your Missus in the daylight this time. I got some nice daytime pics of Your Missus, then put her back in the lake where she sat with her back to me and sulked. I don’t want to see Your Missus any more this year – we’re done!”
