SPRINGING INTO LIFE!
After a difficult winter, things are already looking up for Andy Sargent now that spring is upon us, with two Monks Pits lumps paying him a visit on his latest session.
Lots of smell and attraction were the key to Andy’s baiting approach, with Calanus Hydro, BetaStim, Salmon Oil and Hot Hemp Oil all used over his baited area of mixed-sized Bug boilies and pellets.
PB wafters fished over the bait yielded the Sovereign at 42lb 8oz and the Big Fully at 37lb 12oz.
