THIRTIES HAT-TRICK ON MERRINGTON
Tom Forrester kept it local with a recent trip to popular day-ticket water Merrington Fishery, landing a trio of thirties and a number of stunning twenties amongst a plethora of bites.
This Shropshire venue will usually reward anglers who work hard at their fishing, and that’s exactly what Tom did, alternating hookbaits to see which worked and setting small traps of 8mm and crumbed Bug and Switch boilies, hemp and Liver Extract.
The pick of the session was a 32lb 10oz mirror.
