West End Lake on the Elphicks complex in Kent continues to throw up the big ’uns to DNA customers!
John Mason from Sevenoaks landed not one, not two but three forties during his recent visit, backed up by a low thirty for good measure.
Weighing in at 44lb 8oz, 42lb 4oz, 40lb 12oz and 32lb 8oz, all four of John’s fish fell to a little-and-often baiting approach. Using either a spod, a catapult or his hands, John kept a steady stream of bait going in over the course of his session, getting trough approximately seven kilos in total.
His mix comprised SLK mini dumbbells, 12-millers and 15-millers, Crayfish Mini and Maxi Mix pellets, SLK Hydro Spod Syrup and Liver Extract, with SLK Corker wafters used as hookbaits.
