One such person is Mark Bartlett, undoubtedly one of the finest anglers in the country as well as a fishery owner, who has experienced first- hand what a positive impact pellets have on the health, well-being and development of carp. It’s for this reason why he is using pellets more and more in his fishing these days, especially from late summer onwards. In this film, we join Bart on his famous syndicate water, The Carp Society-run Farriers Lake in the Cotswolds, as he details his approach to pellet fishing. Bart explains the reasons why he uses pellets, how he uses them and the baits and presentations he adopts to fish over them. To help prove what a deadly method pellet fishing can be, Bart’s net is graced by a very special Farriers carp.
